By mentioning “Installing OS from Pen drive easily” I mean that one will not have to go through lengthy steps of codes or tons of 3rd party application before getting  bootable OS pen drive . I assure you will have your Favorite OS bootable installation pen drive with you in not more than 5 clicks.

The Post is divided in two parts former is installing Linux and the later is about installing windows

Linux

To make a bootable installation pendrive of any linux varient make sure you have thee things:-

• A bootable Image (.iso) file of the Linux OS.
• A pendrive (the capacity of pendrive should be 1.5 times that of the image file of OS)
• A free software “UNet bootin” . ( Direct Download link is provided at the end of the post.)
• 5 mins of your valuable time.

Now all you need to do is to run the program and select a distribution, floppy/hard disk image, or kernel/initrd to load, select a target drive (USB Drive or Hard Disk), then reboot once done.

Windows

To make a bootable installation pendrive of any linux varient make sure you have thee things:-

• A bootable Image (.iso) file of the Windows OS.
• A pendrive (the capacity of pendrive should be 1.5 times that of the image file of OS)
• Software “UltraISO” . ( Direct Download link is provided at the end of the post.)
• 10 mins of your valuable time.

1. Plug in your pen drive.
2. Open UltraISO as Administrator (right-click shortcut, “Run as Administrator”)
3. Open the CD/DVD image file you want to write to pendrive in this instance of UltraISO (File>Open).
4. Under the Bootable menu, select Write Disk Image.
5. A new dialog should open up, listing your pen drive(s).
6. Select the pendrive you want to write your image to.
7. Set the Write Method to USB-HDD (or USB-HDD+ if your BIOS supports it).
8. Click the Write button, and then click Yes/OK in the warning dialog (All data on this drive will be destroyed ……. do you want to continue) that pops up.
9. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink.
